Dr. Ransom opened Great Oaks Animal Hospital at its original location in November of 1990. As our clientele began to grow, we didn't have enough room for all of our patients, or to practice the high quality of medicine that we desired. As the area grew, so did the hospital and its needs.

The new and improved Great Oaks Animal Hospital was completed in March of 1998. This modern and progressive veterinary hospital is a complete diagnostic and hospital facility that is outfitted with the latest X-ray equipment, EKG monitors to evaluate heart function, gas anesthetic machines, anesthesia monitoring, and on-site blood chemistry analyses. We can perform endoscopy, dental radiographs and ultrasounds to provide the highest quality of care possible. Fortunately, we also have three great doctors to translate all these test results into a language we can all understand.
