-MEDICINE- Comprehensive physical examinations, complete medical diagnostic and treatment including hospitalization, IV fluid therapy, complete blood chemistries, x-rays and ultrasounds.

-SURGERY- We have a modern surgical suite that is used only for surgical procedures. We follow the guidelines of the American Animal Hospital Association for sterile techniques. We follow the anesthesia protocols of Texas A&M University's College of Veterinary Medicine, including gentle sedatives, injectable anesthesia induction, and maintenance on isoflurane gas, with complete monitoring including capabilities for EKG, blood pressure, oxygen saturation and heart rate. All of our nurses are carefully trained in the art and science of anesthesia monitoring.

-DENTAL CARE- We perform comprehensive dental prophylaxis under complete anesthesia. We use a combination of ultrasonic scalers, hand scaling, and polishing equipment. We have the capability for digital dental radiographs on any diseased teeth. We also provide simple and complex extractions.

-IMMUNIZATIONS- We use the highest quality vaccines available to protect your pet from disease, including non-adjuvanted vaccines for cats to minimize any risks of vaccination. We will discuss the right vaccination schedule with you to provide the safest option for your pet under its individual life circumstances. We also have a reminder system in place so you will receive notification of when vaccinations are due.

-COMPLETE LABORATORY- We have laboratory equipment on site to perform complete blood counts, fecal analysis for intestinal parasites, heartworm tests, Feline AIDS and Feline Leukemia tests, and cytologic evaluation of any lumps or skin lesions. We also use an outside laboratory for more comprehensive testing or advanced serologic evaluations.

-INTERNAL MEDICINE- Our doctors have special training in veterinary ultrasound which is used to perform non-invasive evaluations of soft tissue structures like internal organs.

-RADIOLOGY- We have complete radiography facilities for taking x-rays and contrast radiography.

-PHARMACY- We stock a complete drug inventory so most medications needed can be dispensed for the patient before leaving the hospital.

-PAIN MANAGEMENT- Pain is difficult to assess in animals as they are so well-adapted to masking disease. Our doctors are firm believers that animals experience varying levels of pain just as humans do. All surgical procedures include injectable pain medications as well as pain-prevention drugs that will be sent home with you as you continue post-surgical care for your pet. Please also discuss arthritis care and pain control with one of our doctors. We have several different modalities to make sure that your pet is as comfortable as possible.

-PATIENT RECORDS- All pets admitted to the clinic have an individual computerized medical record. All vaccinations, laboratory results, surgeries, radiology results, medical conditions, and prescriptions used are recorded here.

-BATHS AND DIPS- We offer baths for treatment of fleas and ticks, medicated baths for skin diseases as well as routine bathing.

-PET SUPPLIES- We carry Hill's Prescription Diet, Science Diet, Innovative Veteriary Diets, Purina prescription diets and Eukanuba products. We can also order any other special diets prescribed by our doctors with advanced notice.

-FLEA CONTROL- To help you in flea control we offer Capstar, Frontline Plus, Revolution, and Sentinel, as well as several pet and premises sprays.
